MenPower Urology is located at 3F Seomyeon Medical Tower, Bujeon-ro 75, Busanjin-gu. Seomyeon is Busan's central commercial district — the best-connected area in the city for short-stay recovery.

Recommended Accommodation Options

Hotel Nongshim (3 — 7 min walk)

10 minutes' walk from the clinic. Full hotel services, elevator, 24-hour front desk. Rooms with bathtubs (avoid post-op until week 3) but also shower-only rooms available on request. ~$70–$90 USD/night. English-speaking front desk.

Benikea Premier Hotel Busan (3 — 5 min walk)

5-minute walk. Comfortable mid-range rooms. Ground-floor CU convenience store directly below. Ideal for post-circumcision or post-injection patients who need minimal walking. ~$65–$85 USD/night.

Short-Term Apartment (GS25 / Naver Stay)

For stays of 7+ days (LiSWT course, penile implant recovery), a furnished apartment in Seomyeon offers a kitchen for cooking soft recovery meals, a washing machine, and more space than a hotel room. Average ~$50–$70 USD/night at 7-day rate. MenPower can provide booking assistance.

Recovery Goshiwon (Most Budget — 3 min walk)

Very small single rooms with en-suite bathroom at ~$30–$40 USD/night. Functional for patients on a tight budget who just need a place to rest. Not recommended for implant patients who need space to move around. MenPower can direct you to vetted options.

Convenience Store Recovery Diet

CU / GS25 / 7-Eleven Shopping Guide

Korean convenience stores (24/7) are within 2 minutes of MenPower. These items are appropriate for post-op recovery and available without cooking:

  • 삼각김밥 (triangle kimbap) — rice, seaweed, light filling. Easily digestible carbohydrate
  • 바나나우유 (banana milk) — gentle on post-anaesthesia stomach
  • 삶은 달걀 (boiled eggs) — high protein, no preparation needed
  • 컵라면 (cup noodles) — AVOID weeks 1–2, high sodium
  • 두부 (tofu) — refrigerated silken tofu, protein-rich, very soft
  • 미역국 (seaweed soup, canned) — traditional Korean recovery food, anti-inflammatory properties
  • 이온음료 (Pocari Sweat / 게토레이) — electrolyte replacement, better than plain water for hydration after surgery

Transport During Recovery

Busan Metro (가장 추천)

Seomyeon station (Line 1 + Line 2) is 4 minutes' walk from MenPower Urology. Air-conditioned, clean, and step-free (elevators available). T-money card (₩3,000 deposit at airport convenience stores, top up at station kiosks) covers metro + bus + taxi top-up. Most foreign patients recover with metro-only transport after day 3–4.

KakaoTaxi (앱 택시)

Korea's dominant ride-hailing app. Download before arrival. Set language to English. More comfortable than metro for days 1–3 post-surgery when any jarring movement causes discomfort. Average fare from Seomyeon to Gimhae Airport: ₩25,000–₩30,000 ($18–$22 USD). 40-minute drive in normal traffic.

Airport Transfer

Gimhae International Airport serves Busan — most Southeast Asia, Japan, and Chinese routes. Limousine bus from Seomyeon: 60–80 min, ₩7,000 ($5.20), limited stops. KakaoTaxi: 40 min, more comfortable for early post-op travel. For penile implant patients: private van (arrange through MenPower) with seating adjustment for comfort.
